Thank you for your patience
What's really going on at Wallets Africa?
Dearest customer,
I believe you are having a rock solid end of the year.
Identity documents waiting to be verified
In line with our anti money laundering policy, customers can not withdraw from their account unless they have valid identity documents attached to their profile.
We’ve been approving the identity documents using a back office portal and the hiccups started when the ongoing migration wave caused us to lose key workers. This coincided with the shut down of card providers in Nigeria.
We have resolved this now and we expect valid identity documents to be verified within minutes on our website and on our self service portal to allow for successful processing of your transactions.
Pending bank transfer payouts
The partner we chose to run our bank transfer service had intermittent downtime causing some transactions to be marked as pending, we’ve now reversed almost all of these transactions and you can monitor the status of your transaction if affected on our self service portal.
Customer support and social media
You can reach us on any of our support channels: live chat, support@wallet.ng, +2349067983726 and social media between 9:00am and 6:00pm on weekdays and from 12 noon till 5:00pm on weekends.
We are dealing with unusual traffic so we thank you for your patience as we work on the queue.
